Daniella Celia

ELITE CHOREOGRAPHER

Daniella Celia began her dance training under the direction of Lisa Tingle. She danced competitively for fifteen years, participating in many workshops and studying with master choreographers. Starting out her college career at Frostburg State University, Daniella was a part of their dance company and hiphop team. After transferring to Salisbury University, she became apart of their dance company for four years and achieved "Outstanding Dancer of the Year" for 2014. She has taken classes from Paul Taylor, Alvin Ailey, Misty Copeland, and the Moscow Ballet. She choreographed three pieces in SUDC’s fall concerts.

Daniella was also Salisbury University Poms Co-Captain where she choreographed for basketball and football games. One summer, she worked at the Dance Teacher Summit in New York City where she experienced the business side of the dance world. While dancing her way through college, she became a part of a woman's organization called "WINK", dancing and choreographing for the awareness of women for three years. Daniella was awarded "Winking Star" at the Celebration of University Leadership (CUL) for her creativity and dedication.

Daniella made a performing dance company in Maryland, where she performed in two professional shows. After graduating college, Daniella continued to teach at Seaside Dance Academy and for the after school academy at Snow Hill High School. She was also honored to return to Salisbury University and choreograph for their fall and spring showcases.

Daniella is now living her dream in Washington, D.C., where she was selected to be the choreographer for Nick Cannon's “Wild n' Out” Live Tour with performances by Wale and Yo Gotti. She is currently on her second season as a NBA dancer and her first season as an assistant coach for the new senior dance team. During her rookie season, she was awarded “Rookie of the Year” and “Miss Congeniality”. When she is not dancing on the court, she loves teaching master classes and choreographing for schools and studios. Daniella hopes to be an inspiration to dancers of all ages and share her passion to the world.

O’LIVIA FOSTER

CHOREOGRAPHER & ELITE INSTRUCTOR

O’Livia, a professional dancer and choreographer, puts the POWER in powerhouse. She is a professional on and off the dance floor, and she she puts 110% into all of her passions and endeavors.

To pursue a career in entrepreneurship, O’Livia retired from dancing in the NBA for the Washington Wizards after completing two amazing seasons on the court. She earned the Spirit Award two consecutive seasons— voted on by her teammates. She also received the “Always on 10” superlative from her coach. O’Livia danced alongside Christie as a Wizards Girl, but this wasn’t where their friendship blossomed.

O’Livia danced alongside Christie on the University of Kentucky Dance Team. This is where O’Livia was able to hone her style as a hip hop dancer and shape herself into the dancer, performer, and choreographer she is today.

When she’s not killing it on the dance floor, O’Livia is mentoring young girls, helping people find homes in the Metro DC area, and organizing her planner— living out her passions.

ANDI

DJ & MASTER MUSIC MIXER

Andi edits, mixes, and masters dance tracks for Powerhouse Danceworks’ choreography. She loves making music for dancers and is proud to help bring movement to life with sound.

As a trained singer and former poms competitor, Andi understands the importance of having the perfect mix for a performance or competition. Her love of singing and dance sparked her interest in DJing after years of finding great songs but wishing they were a different length, tempo, or style to fit certain moods and uses. Using various audio editing tools, she blends popular songs with original sounds to create customized mixes. Her goal is to ensure that no client’s vision is ever limited by the music - Andi will change song speed and length, mix multiple tracks together, and add in custom sounds until a mix is perfect for the choreography.

When she's not editing dance mixes for Powerhouse, she can be found DJing in DC and singing for various music projects. In 2017, she provided vocals for the dance track "Sirens" released through Original Genius Records and "Las Vegas" by DJ Marx. She hopes to sing on more records, DJ more events, and make as many dance mixes as possible!
